One of the best live concerts I've ever attended & no less than in Philippines at Shangri-la Hotel Makati. This is one of those times I'm grateful French is one of the languages I speak and understand. Here's Il Divo. Happy Valentine's Folks!
I called your voice into the dark
Silence was all I heard
I hoped for just a sign, a spark,
Or maybe a gentle word
Yet no response, no one to hear
My plaintive, dying dream
It was shadowed by naught but fear
Life without hope now seemed
In universe alone my heart
Was spinning without reason
It broke into a thousand parts
Scattered among the seasons
Would love appear to show the way
Would it come into my heart to stay
Falling in love is like a dance.
Each dancer has his or her own steps,
but for the dance to work, each dancer
must also understand the steps of their partner.
I heard a soft and gentle voice
Respond to my lost calling
The answer made my heart rejoice
And stopped my endless falling
Before the voice, I felt the touch
It landed on my soul
That for which I'd longed so much
Your love made me whole
It whispered softly in my ear
And made me catch my breath
It took away the ageless fear
The pain, the sting, the death
With the pure joy you gave to me
Your love taught me to live so free.
